Our Team
It is our aim to make you comfortable at your visit. We practice dentistry with transparency, this means no hidden surprises. Our dentists are locally trained, regularly educated, and are here to help you make an informed decision. We’re here to hold your hand to guide you through sometimes, unfortunately, difficult scenarios.
Our equipment is state of the art. We use digital radiographs, cameras and utilise digital milling services.
Our girls are all RMIT certificate-trained in Melbourne and know how to keep our place tidy! Our practice is clean, eco-friendly (mercury free, amalgam water filters, digital low exposure radiation, biodegradable cups/plastics).
Our team is composed of 6 dentists (3 male, 3 female) to cater to your individual needs, each of us have particular fields of interest. Our aim is work together as a team to help you and only you. We all look forward to meeting you we hope you have found home.
Dr. Anthony Chiu, (Hons) BDSc (WA)
Anthony graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Science with Honours. He worked in private practice in Perth, Western Australia before moving to Melbourne. Anthony has undertaken further training in various aspects of cosmetic procedures including aesthetic bonding (non-invasive direct bonding). Anthony is fluent in English and Cantonese. Anthony works from Monday to Saturdays and is dedicated to educate and provide gentle dental care his patients in all aspects of preventative, restorative and cosmetic dentistry.
Dr. Fariha Ahmed, DDS (Melb)
Fariha graduated with Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne. She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, however, places importance on preventative treatment as she understands that this enables patients to achieve long-term dental health.
Fariha believes effective communication is critical to dental treatment. She ensures that she takes the time to get to know patients as a whole, explain dental procedures and discuss treatment options. She has a bubbly and gentle personality which she uses to build rapport and create positive dental experiences, which is often a great help to patients with dental anxiety.
When not in the dental clinic, Fariha enjoys baking (but mostly eating) desserts, trying different restaurants around Melbourne with her friends and playing with her cat- Tigger.
Dr. Olivia Wei Sha BDS (Adel)
Wei graduated from the University of Adelaide with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery. She started her dental career in South Australia and moved to Melbourne in 2020.
Wei enjoys all aspects of dentistry and deems dentistry as a combination of art and science. She finds great satisfaction to see happy smiles with confidence after the dental care. She is a caring and friendly dentist, prides herself on a gentle approach to care and aims to provide a stress-free, pleasant environment for all patients.
Wei is also fluent in Mandarin and Shanghainese. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling, exercising and spending time with family and friends.
She is available on Thursdays, Fridays and alternate Saturdays.
Dr. Marina Atalla, DDS (Melb) BPSc Honours (UQ)
Marina graduated with doctor of dental surgery from the university of melbourne. She has Also attained her bachelor of psychological sciences (honours) from the university of Queensland. With a background in psychology, marina is able to help her patients navigate Through their dental treatments, particularly those who experience anxiety, with ease. She Has had several years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum and this Passion has continued throughout her dental degree in finding ways for these children to Successfully manage their oral health.
Marina enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with particular emphasis on preventative treatment.
Having experienced a range of dental treatments herself, she believes that oral health Education is the most effective treatment. Throughout her degree marina was awarded the Australian prize for periodontology and thus places great importance on gum health. Most Importantly, marina prides herself in creating a smile her patients love. Outside of dentistry marina spends most of her time with her big family. She enjoys crime Podcasts, reformer pilates, and trying to find the best chocolate croissant in melbourne!
Dr Vincent Hou – BSc, DDS (Melb)
Vincent graduated with a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne. He enjoys all aspects of general dentistry, with particular interests in restorative and surgical procedures. Vincent is passionate about providing the best possible experience for all his patients: Effective communication, empathy and building rapport are the key tools to creating a safe and stress-free environment to improve one’s dental health. At the end of the day, nothing makes us all happier than a smiling patient!
Born and raised across the Tasman, Vincent is from Aotearoa/New Zealand and moved to Melbourne when he was 18. Outside of dentistry, you will find Vincent playing soccer, struggling in the gym or chilling with his dog, Lumos.
Vincent speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese. He is available Monday, Thursday and Fridays.
Dr. Frank Zeng
Frank graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Dental Surgery.
Frank strives to make dental visits as comfortable as possible by taking time and care with each patient, while placing an emphasis on preventative treatment. In addition to preventative dentistry, Frank enjoys other aspects of general dentistry including restorative and aesthetic dentistry.
Outside of dentistry, you will find Frank on the courts playing basketball or in the kitchen cooking up a feast.
Frank speaks English and Mandarin. He is available Mondays and Fridays.
Dr. Michelle Van, BHSc MDent (Latrobe)
Since completing her Bachelor of Health Sciences and Masters in Dentistry in 2013, Michelle has gained a wealth of experience from practising as a general dentist in several private practices across Melbourne.
Her experience has developed her passion for providing the best quality care to her patients. You will often see her engaging in lengthy conversations with her patients, talking with them to understand their goals, in order to provide comprehensive and tailored dental care.
She joins our team with a strong interest in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, as well as orthodontics (including early intervention orthodontics, Myobrace, fixed braces and Invisalign). She is a certified Invisalign provider and has completed training to provide treatment under relative analgesia (nitrous oxide).
Outside of work, Michelle enjoys being in the great outdoors and volunteering. Ask her about dental volunteer trip to Vietnam last year!
Michelle speaks English and Vietnamese, and is JLPT N2 proficient in Japanese. She is available on Fridays and alternate Saturdays.
Dr. Sabina Choi BBiomed, DDS (Melb)
Sabina graduated from the University of Melbourne with the Doctor of Dental Surgery. Having spent her training in rural Victoria, she has now works in several private practices across Melbourne. She enjoys working together with all members of the family to achieve happy, healthy smiles. In particular, Sabina enjoys seeing children for their regular dental visits and with her gentle nature, she can make their first dental experiences enjoyable – which will no doubt leave good impressions for their future dental visits. She believes dental visits should start early to minimise the difficulties associated with early dental decay. Prevention is the key – which you may hear her say over and over again.
On her days off, she enjoys hiking in the great outdoors and relaxing with her dog at the local park, as well as keeping fit with regular lap swimming sessions. She can speak English and Korean.
Dr Natalie Tsang, BHSc MDent (Latrobe)
Dr Natalie Tsang is originally from Hong Kong and relocated to Melbourne to pursue and complete her Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry and Master of Dentistry from La Trobe University Melbourne.
Having worked in regional Victoria, Natalie prides herself in providing gentle, comfortable and pain-free dentistry. In conjunction with her kind manner, empathetic personality and attention to detail, her craft for dentistry allows her to treat patients of all ages as she looks forward to building relationships with them and their families. At the end of the appointment, Natalie never lets her patients leave without a smile on their face!
Natalie is passionate about all facets of dentistry, particularly restorative, crowns, oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry and sleep bruxism. She frequents dental education courses outside of work and remains up to date in the latest technologies in the dental industry. She values the importance of progressive and quality treatment and strives to educate and motivate all her patients to achieve their oral health goals.
Natalie also enjoys advocating for young dentists and dental students across Australia. She was on the national Australian Dental Student’s Association committee during her University years and was also shortlisted to attend the Australian Dental Graduate of the Year Residency, an honourable program that recognises top young dental talents across the Country.
Outside of dentistry, Natalie is a big foodie and enjoys cooking up a storm as well as making her way through Melbourne’s food scene. She also enjoys spending time outdoors whether that be hiking, road tripping or snowboarding.
Natalie speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin. She is available on Monday and Tuesdays.
Dr. Darren Chen, DDS (Melb)
Darren is a Melbourne local and graduated with Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Melbourne. While he enjoys all aspects of dentistry, he has a particular interest in restorative dentistry. Darren is committed to making sure that your dental visit is a comfortable one and values the relationship between patient and dentist. Apart from English, Darren can also speak Shanghainese and is proficient in Japanese.
Outside of dentistry, you’ll either find him making birdies on the golf course or playing guitar and working on his album.
Dr. Timothy Van, BDSc (WA)
Timothy completed his Bachelor of Dental Science from the University of Western Australia in 2008 and moved from the sunny beaches of Western Australia to establish his practice in Melbourne.
His broad exposure to treating patients over the many years, as well as his dedication to continued professional studies, has led him to develop a strong interest in the management of complex dental problems and cosmetic dental rehabilitation (including dental implants).
His achievements to-date include:

Timothy is not only passionate about his work, but he is also passionate about his family. In his time outside of dentistry, he enjoys spending time and building memories with his wife and two young girls.
Timothy is fluent in English, Cantonese, Vietnamese and Mandarin. He consults on Monday mornings and Friday evenings.
Dr. Benjamin Zhang, DDS (Melb) BBiomed (Melb)
Benjamin graduated from The University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Dental Surgery. He previously spent time working private practice in Perth, Western Australia before moving home to Melbourne. He strongly believes that the key to a healthy mouth is through open communication and building long-lasting relationships between patient and dentist. Besides English he also speaks Cantonese and Mandarin. He follows the minimal intervention approach to dentistry, focusing on prevention of issues before they arise, but does not shy away from any extractions that may be required. Outside of dentistry, he enjoys working out at the gym, playing golf on weekends and travelling to all corners of the world.
